It felt quite surreal putting that out of office on ….. I am away for work until February!…. this is work… work for a charity that I really believe in what we are doing to support the 6 histroic sites the UK Antartic Heritage Trust works to preserve and tell others the history about what was acaheived. That “I should be so lucky” is amazing. Thiings like this don’t happen to 58 year olds.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Early start to Paris then 13 hour flight to B.Aires and onward to Ushuaia (another 3.5 hours).<\/p>\n
Things have change and I have no time in Ushuaia but go straight to port and on board the Ocean Albatross now. All rather smart<\/p>\n
(google it ….) and plan is to arrive 1 December at Port Lockroy.. we will see.<\/p>\n
